Belvedere is located in the Borough of Bexley to the west of Erith and north of Bexley. A popular part of Belvedere is Nuxley Village, known locally as "The Village". Incorporating the triangle of Nuxley Road, Albert Road, and Woolwich Road.
The area has seen house prices rise due to it being within walking distance of the cross-rail station at Abbey Wood. The New Elizbeth line will shave commuting times to stations such as Bond Street by up to 20 minutes.
Things To Do
Belvederes 'Horse Roundabout' is a famous local landmark. Internationally renowned sculptor Andy Scott is the artist behind the piece which is located on a roundabout between Picardy Manor Way and Bronze Age Way.
If you fancy some local pie and mash, then Millers Pie & Mash Shop will hit the spot. You may need to walk this off and we would recommend the Green Chain Walk. This is a network of walks from three points on the River Thames, including the Woolwich Flood Barrier, to Crystal Palace Park, linking together the open spaces of South East London.
